1911 Born in Azabu, Tokyo.
1914 Started learning the piano at the age of three.
1917 Entered the Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin boarding house, age six.
Became a piano teacher on graduation.
1937 Married Toshitsugu Sera
1948 Studied under Ryohei Koiso.
(studied sketching in the studio of Tsugiro Ito)
1954 Received her first prize from the Issuikai
1963 Nominated for membership of Issuikai.
1966 Spent one year studying in France.
1968 Held an exhibition of European works in the Nitido Salon, Ginza.
1970 Exhibited works at a special exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art, Hyogo Prefecture.
1971 Held an individual exhibition in the Mitsukoshi Department Store, Kitahama.
1988 Received the Marujis prize
1989 Received the Art World Prize.
Held an individual exhibition in the Daimaru Department Store, Kobe.
1992 Founded Sera Art Gallery
Received the 7th Kobe City Prize for Cultural Architecture.
Received the 2nd Hyogo Prefecture Prize for Creating a Lively Town.
Received the 1st Hyogo Prefecture Kusonoki Cultural Architecture Prize.

She is a member of the Issuikai and the Salon dユAutomne.
Still active and enthusiastic, she leads watercolor classes and sketching
